En ocasiones hay partidos que yo les llamo «de oficina». Llegas al partido, haces tu trabajo peor que mejor y te vas para casa, con un poco de suerte con victoria y sin sufrir en exceso. Y así fue el nuestro contra el Creu Alta, sin brillo pero resuelto con oficio, logrando sumar la cuarta victoria consecutiva con cierta comodidad. Supimos sobreponernos al madrugón y la falta de actitud que habíamos tenido a lo largo de la semana que nos hicieron llegar con ciertas dudas al partido.
El inicio fue poco lúcido, con una cantidad extraordinaria de fallos debajo del aro en situaciones con relativa ventaja. Salimos dormidos en la fase ofensiva, aunque la defensiva por lo menos funcionaba (2-4). Después salimos con algo más de acierto en ataque, pero al mismo tiempo con una defensa más floja (7-8 a favor, 9-12). El tercer cuarto fue el momento para asustarnos porque aparecieron los nervios y las prisas, fallando en la toma de decisiones y bajando el ritmo atrás (6-4, 15-16). En ese momento los entrenadores, convencidos de la superioridad de nuestros chicos, les preguntamos que de cuánto querían ganar, y ellos dijeron que de 20 puntos. Pues manos a la obra, en el cuarto parcial nos lanzamos al ataque, por primera vez en el partido de manera colectiva, logrando abrir la brecha de +1 punto a +11 (4-14, 19-30). Pasada la media parte, en el quinto cuarto, seguimos con la faena, alcanzando los 20 puntos requeridos (2-11, 21-41). Antes del sexto cuarto volvimos a preguntar si se veían capaces de ganar de treinta, respondiendo que sí. Endosamos un parcial de 4-13 en otra demostración de juego colectivo. Con 29 arriba (25-54) decidimos los dos últimos cuartos a trabajar y practicar diferentes elementos del juego, aunque en ocasiones no nos salieran bien. Dos parciales de 2-6 y 8-7 dieron por acabado el encuentro.
Nos espera una semana de descanso (¡a celebrar Carnaval!) antes de enfrentarnos el 4 de marzo contra el farolillo rojo de la clasificación, el C.B. Cerdanyola. Se está empezando a abrir una brecha que divide la clasificación en tres partes. Sant Nicolau, líder invicto, por un lado; MIR y nosotros que les vamos a la zaga; y finalmente Fuster, Sferic, Creu Alta, Maristes y Cerdanyola. Debemos seguir con la racha de victorias si queremos optar a los puestos de cabeza. Trabajaremos duro estas dos semanas. ¡A por todas!
